Dear Esteemed Friends and Colleagues: Thank you for the opportunity to introduce California’s “When Seconds Count…” TAK-Response Conference & Exhibition. I hope this letter will inspire you to learn more about opportunities provided by TAK-Response to raise awareness and gain insights in mitigating, responding to and combating 21st century threats. We invite you to join us for TAK-Response Conference & Exhibition September 14-16, 2010, at the San Jose McEnery Convention Center in San Jose, California. | ![]() |
At a time when emergency responders are continually called upon to “do more with less” and confront threats that are larger in scale and often more lethal than in the past, the need for combined threat-based training has reached a critical point. Inter-discipline cooperation, information sharing and integrated solutions are absolute necessities to successfully respond to and address ever-changing threats.
As the name implies, TAK-Response is geared toward tactical activities and survival skills for first-responders, and all others called upon to deal with the consequences of large scale or terrorist incidents. TAK-Response’s “All Hazards” educational model was developed by reputable trainers to provide today’s responders with a broader awareness and new insights to effectively carry out their jobs during turbulent times. TAK-Response curriculum provides detailed information on the following subjects: “Tactical Law Enforcement,” Tactical Fire,” “EMS/Emergency Nursing,” ”Disaster Response,” and “Counter-Terrorism.” POST, BRN and EMS continuing education credits will be awarded to participants to further accommodate the educational demands of our attendees.
YOU should attend TAK-Response if you’re affiliated with:
